But no more.
Yesterday, I attempted the flash but to no avail. Nevertheless, I pressed forward completely undaunted, and have obtained the prize:
Well-lit photos despite the lighting dungeon that is my house.
Yes, today has been a beautiful day so far, and I have the pictures to prove it.
And the newly-groomed Pippin, showing off his drinking-from-the-bathroom-faucet skillz. I'm in love with the motion-capture shown in this picture. Thank heavens for flash. So I really have no idea what took me so long to try the flash. I was pretty sure it'd be terribly difficult and a frenemy relationship would ensue, but if things keep going as they are, this could turn into a beautiful, lifelong friendship. Or just one of those one-sided, disgusting adoration things where I idolize the flash and am constantly trying to figure it out, and it couldn't care less about me.
But at this point, I'm too flash-happy to care!

hey holly!! it was SO nice to see you and Matthew and your precious little boy tonight!! While we were driving home, i said to Terry. I think Holly and I should get together sometime. And then I thought, well.. maybe she'll be scared of my psychotic, germy children. But... then I read your response to my last response. There is hope!!! ;) I don't have your email, or phone number anymore for that matter. But I would love to get together maybe next week sometime. I just went back to work, but only 1-2 days a week, and only evenings. Write me @ tnwilliams5@bell.net and we'll set up Elijahs very first playdate with the Williams kids!! So excited!
